Hey Guys,

We’re playing at Spaceland on Saturday August 15th. This is going to be a really great show. Our label-mates Roadside Graves (New Jersey) are in town for a few shows and I’m really excited to get to do a show with them! We’re gonna be playing some songs acoustic but mostly electric. Expect some new tunes as well!

Let them eat Cake! is the closing reception for an exhibit that is currently on view called “I Want Candy: The Sweet Stuff in American Art”. The event is on Friday, August 28th, 2009 from 8pm – midnight.

Spaceland w/ Roadside Graves

We’re playing Spaceland with Roadside Graves (Autumn Tone Label Mates), The  World Record (one fo our Favorite Local bands) and Flashing Red Lights who I’ve yet to see but have heard good things about. Will be a guarranteed great time.

The Dakota Lounge

On Sunday May 31st we’re playing a show with two great bands, Les Blanks and Go West Young Man at the Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica. We figured it was time us east-siders embrace the west side. The show starts at 8pm and it’s five dollars at the door.

This Thursday night we’re playing a free show at Stories Bookstore in Echo Park. Our good friends, Justin (Aquarium Drunkard) and Melissa Gage will be signing and reading their new book, Memphis and the Delta Blues Trail. Come out and step back in time for a night of grittiness and twelve-bar blues deconstruction.
